If you’re trying to eat a high protein moderate/low carb diet, but are on a vegetarian diet, protein shakes are an awesome way to bump up your protein intake without adding a lot of sugar or grains. One of my best allies is the mighty raw vegan protein shake. The protein takes the edge off the sugar from the fruits, and these shakes are filling but easy to digest.
Here are 3 recipes I enjoy.
SunWarrior Goji Shake

– Ice if needed
Blend all, adding enough orange juice to reach your desired consistency and sweetness. Serve 2.
